The Cleveland Browns are keeping the band together. Fresh off a 2019 season that saw youngster Nick Chubb break out big time, another running back is returning to Cleveland.

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, former Pro Bowl back Kareem Hunt has signed his restricted free-agent tender.

Hunt, 24, will earn just over $3.2 million this coming season after Cleveland placed a second-round tender on him.

A mid-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2017, Hunt led the NFL in rushing as a rookie with 1,327 yards.

He was released midway through his sophomore season after disturbing allegations of domestic violence surfaced. Cleveland picked Hunt up off waivers shortly thereafter.

Playing second fiddle to Chubb last season, Hunt put up 464 total yards at a clip of 6.5 yards per touch. He’s now back for another season with the Browns.
