Report: NFLPA not allowing players who already voted to change votes on CBA

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

A new twist has emerged as the NFLPA continues to move toward a final vote on the proposed new CBA between itself and the NFL.

According to Dan Graziano of ESPN, some players who have already voted asked to change their votes after further consideration, but the player reps in the NFLPA voted that down.

This news comes on the heels of a stunning development in which NFLPA Vice President Russell Okung filed an unfair labor practice charge against the union.

Also on Monday, the NFLPA extended the voting period from what had previously been a March 12 deadline to March 14 to give all its players the chance to cast their votes.

The vote has been hotly debated by proponents and opponents of the proposed CBA. Among the most ardent and vocal opponents are the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman and J.J. Watt.
