It stands to reason that the one-win San Francisco 49ers might look to trade some of the players that don’t fit into their long-term future ahead of Tuesday’s deadline. Though, things had been relatively quiet on that front recently.

That changed Sunday morning. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, wide receiver Pierre Garcon is drawing interest from multiple teams. San Francisco also seems open to the idea of trading the 32-year-old receiver.

“The 49ers have fielded calls from at least three teams in the past week inquiring if Garcon is available, and San Francisco has listened to what others are offering as talks are expected to continue after Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals,” Schefter reported.

Garcon signed a five-year, $47.5 million contract with San Francisco back in March of 2017. He was on pace for 1,000 yards last season before suffering a neck injury eight games in.

Garcon has recorded just 21 receptions for 230 yards this season and is out for Sunday’s game with a knee injury. Any trade would likely require nothing more than a mid-to-late round pick in return, especially given Garcon’s $8.4 million cap hit for next season.
