The New York Jets No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft is apparently up for grabs for a good asking price.

General manager Mike Maccagnan shared this information with reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine on Wednesday.

“Right now, we feel good at No. 3, but I’d definitely say if there’s an opportunity to trade down, we would absolutely look at it,” he said, per Rich Cimini of ESPN.”

This would be quite the opposite direction for New York compared to last spring when it moved up from the sixth selection to No. 3 overall for Sam Darnold.

Certainly, teams in need of a quarterback are taking note of this.

Maccagnan said this when asked about trading with the New York Giants — who coincidentally have pick No. 6.

“Yeah, I think I would be open to any team that would,” he said. “As long as the trade made sense to us, there’s nothing that would stop us from doing that.”

Other teams with lower draft picks and big quarterback needs include the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins.

With that said, teams looking to move up will have to be quite competitive with their offers to Gang Green.
