After ending his holdout and returning to the team this week, Seattle Seahawks free safety will suit up and play in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.
The #Seahawks are activating S Earl Thomas to play in tomorrow’s game, I’m told. No surprise, but the final member of the Legion of Boom will play in Week 1.

Thomas, who held out of team activities since OTAs in May, returns to action after not receiving the long-term extension he was seeking throughout the offseason.
The 29-year-old safety will play out the final year of his contract then become a free agent next offseason. An All-Pro safety, Thomas’ return is desperately needed for a defense facing a lot of questions this season.
