Safety Earl Thomas is one of the top impending free agents for 2019. His marriage with the Seattle Seahawks looks to be all but over and rumblings of Thomas heading to Dallas are heating up again.
According to a report, the Cowboys came in contact with Thomas’ agent at the NFL Combine to gauge what type of money the All-Pro safety is seeking.
A source confirms to @TheAthleticDFW Cowboys have met with Earl Thomas’ reps at the combine. It was more about gauging what Thomas is looking for financially.

Thomas was not shy last season to say that he wanted a raise in Seattle. His pleas fell upon deaf ears. Then, Thomas’ season ended abruptly in Week 4 when he suffered a leg injury.
Prior to the start of the 2018 season, Thomas made it clear that he was interested in playing for the Dallas Cowboys.
Now that the Cowboys are showing some interest on their end, they will have to officially wait until March 13 to engage directly with Thomas.
It is worth noting Thomas — who turns 30 in May — has not played a full 16-game slate since 2015. Though when healthy, he is still competes at an elite level.
