Report: Cavaliers Willing to Include Andrew Wiggins in Kevin Love Trade

It might not be too long before All-Star power forward Kevin Love joins forces with LeBron James in Cleveland. According to a recent report by Bob Finnan of The Morning Journal, the Cavaliers are now willing to part with 2014 top pick Andrew Wiggins in a potential deal for the Minnesota Timberwolves big man.

This is potentially a huge turn of events for a Cavaliers team that didn’t seem prepared to part with Wiggins, even after landing James earlier this month. If Love were to end up in a Cavs uniform, they would immediately become the unquestioned favorites in the Eastern Conference.

Other parts would have to be included in this deal, but Wiggins is the piece that Minnesota has been coveting from Cleveland in trade negotiations.

The Golden State Warriors are also engaged in active trade discussions for Love. With that said, they have yet to offer up Klay Thompson in a potential deal. Cleveland now seemingly willing to add Wiggins could change that dynamic.
