It could be happening. And we’re all here for it. Still meeting with the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday after having dinner with head coach Kyle Shanahan Friday evening, it’s looking like Richard Sherman may in fact join the NFC West team.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that Sherman was set to undergo a physical with the team. Now, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the two sides are discussing the parameters of a three-year contract.
I'm told free agent CB Richard Sherman is discussing a potential 3-year deal with the #49ers, per Sherman.

That information comes to Anderson directly via Sherman himself, who is acting as his own agent during this process.
The idea of the former Seattle Seahawks legend joining the division-rival 49ers is something that immediately became a possibility following his release on Friday.
Coming of an injury-plagued 2017 season that saw him suffer a torn Achilles, the 29-year-old Sherman brings some injury risk. But it’s a move the up-and-coming 49ers might be on the verge of making.
