The New York Red Bulls signed defender Juan Castillo to a short-term loan from their United Soccer League team prior to Thursday’s match against visiting Atlanta United FC.
Castillo, 19, has recorded three assists in 42 career appearances with New York Red Bulls II.
New York Red Bulls II midfielder Steven Sserwadda also will be available for Thursday’s match. He made his debut with the first team on June 22 against New York City FC in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals.
