Raptors to reportedly sign Patrick McCaw

After spending less than a week with the Cleveland Cavaliers, former Golden State Warriors guard Patrick McCaw is headed up north.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, McCaw has signed a deal with the Toronto Raptors.

A restricted free agent into the 2018-19 season, McCaw had initially inked a multi-year non-guaranteed contract with Cleveland. The team waived him after he averaged less than two points in three games — paying McCaw north of $60,000 per point scored.

After a solid start to his career with the Warriors, McCaw promises to be in the Raptors’ rotation moving forward. He’s seen as a defensive specialist that can hit the perimeter shot.
