The Los Angeles Rams are hoping to have reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald back here soon. A holdout from all organized offseason activities and training camp, Donald remains away from the team with the preseason wrapping up

The issue here is rather clear. Donald is the best defensive player in the game. He wants to be paid like the best defensive player in the game. Meanwhile, Los Angeles has extended multiple lesser players on lucrative long-term deals.

There is, however, good news on this front. Donald isn’t at home eating fast food and resting on his laurels. No. He’s remaining in tip-top physical shape and looks absolutely cut.

Donald just recently posted a video to his Instagram account showing himself to be in the best shape of his career. In the post, Donald mentions that he’s “looking good for 280,” via TMZ Sports.

Donald, 27, weighs less now than he did when the superstar entered the league back in 2014.

That sound you hear is Russell Wilson, Jimmy Garoppolo and Sam Bradford crying into their helmets.

It’s now time for Los Angeles to pay this man.
