Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers entered the concussion protocol Monday after a hit to the head in Sunday’s victory at Denver.

With three minutes left in the Raiders’ 17-16 win, Meyers made a 7-yard reception at midfield before being leveled by Broncos safety Kareem Jackson.

Meyers left the game and Jackson received a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness as Las Vegas went on to run out the clock.

Jackson called the play “bang bang” and said he didn’t intend to hurt Meyers.

“We don’t play this game to hurt guys,” Jackson said.

Making his Raiders debut, Meyers hauled in two touchdown passes and led all players in the game in catches (nine), targets (10) and receiving yards (81).

Meyers, 26, has 244 receptions for 2,839 yards and 10 touchdowns in 61 games (40 starts) with the New England Patriots (2019-22) and Raiders.
