Joining the NHL’s Golden Knights, UNR Wolf Pack, and UNLV Rebels, the Raiders will now have their own official license plate for Nevada drivers and sports fans to show their loyalty to the Silver and Black.

The wait is over Raider Nation.

Starting Monday, Nevada residents with current vehicle registration can order a Raiders branded license plated adorned with the team’s official slogan: Commitment to Excellence.

Of course, the black plate includes the iconic Raiders shield along with the slogan coined by late owner and Pro Football Hall of Famer Al Davis. Nevada residents interested in purchasing a Raiders specialty license plate can make an appointment with their local DMV office by visiting dmvnv.com.

The new Raiders Nevada license plate should be a big seller when it hits the marketing Monday.

“This will give everybody in Nevada, not just Southern Nevada, but the entire state, the ability to get a Raiders license plate for their car,” Raiders President Marc Badain said to the state Legislature’s Commission on Special License Plates when the plate was approved. “Those funds will go to support programs all over the state. I think it will be a tremendous success.”

The Raiders Foundation has been extensively active in the Las Vegas community since the team was approved to relocate to Southern Nevada in 2016. With a focus on youth and veterans causes, the Foundation is already well established in the community far ahead of the Raiders playing in their new $1.8 billion stadium.

How much will showing your loyalty to the silver and black set you back? The Raiders license plate will cost $62, with $30 from each plate sold benefitting the Raiders Foundation. The license plate can also be personalized for an additional $35 annual fee. Is your car already registered? No problem. No new smog check and registration renewal are necessary.

The Golden Knights license plate has been a hot seller coming of the team’s appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals in its inaugural season last year. According to the DMV, 4,517 of the VGK plates sold in its first week. That was the fastest start for any specialized plate in state history.
