Vontaze Burfict ejected, Vontaze Burfict dirty hit
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

We’re not even sure where to start with this one. Oakland Raiders defensive coordinator Paul Guenther has coached suspended linebacker Vontaze Burfict throughout his entire eight-year career.

He knows full well the dirty tactics Burfict has used in the past. Despite this, Guenther seems to think that the NFL has it out for the linebacker.

Oh, come on. Burfict is widely known to be the single most dirty player in the league. The NFL has warned him ample times that his actions could lead to a long-term ban.

Once the NFL decided to suspend Burfict for the remainder of the season following this hit on Colts tight end Jack Doyle back in Week 4, no one really blamed the league.

Despite this, Guenther is out here giving us a conspiracy theory. That’s all sorts of cute.
