Purdue leading scorer and All-Big Ten selection Trevion Williams declared for the NBA Draft on Monday but won’t hire an agent.

The 6-foot-10 junior led the Boilermakers with 15.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this past season.

“I feel the need to take advantage of every opportunity given to me,” Williams said in a Twitter post.

Williams led Purdue to an 18-10 record and a berth in the NCAA Tournament, where the No. 4 seed Boilermakers lost in the first round to North Texas. Williams also earned honorable mention All-American in 2020-21.
