Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey interested in Titans, Raiders

We already know that Pro Bowl Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is not happy with his current contract. Ramsey, 24, is set to earn a base salary of $3.63 million this season. That number grows to $13.7 million next season, the final year of Ramsey’s rookie deal.

He wants to be the highest-paid corner in NFL history. Meanwhile, the Jaguars brass led by VP Tom Coughlin have not been happy about Ramsey’s antics.

It could potentially lead to Jacksonville trading Ramsey away at some point in the not-so-distant future.

If that were to happen the two-time Pro Bowler indicates that he’d like to join either the Tennessee Titans or soon-to-be Las Vegas Raiders.

“It would probably be either here (Titans) or Vegas (Raiders),” Ramsey said on podcast appearance with Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan.

It’s not surprising that Ramsey would be so frank in discussions with a division rival. He’s obviously upset with the way Jacksonville had handled his contract dispute.

A former top-five pick of the Jaguars, Ramsey has recorded 44 passes defended and nine interceptions in three career seasons.
