With the Arizona Coyotes and St. Louis Blues starting a weeklong hiatus due to other teams’ COVID-19 issues, the NHL came up with a plan to keep both clubs in action.
The Coyotes and Blues will meet Saturday afternoon and Monday night in St. Louis, continuing what will now be a three-game series. Arizona earned a 4-3 road win over St. Louis on Thursday night.
The Coyotes were due to play games Saturday and Sunday at Minnesota, but the Wild put their season on pause due to COVID-19 protocols. Arizona also was scheduled to play road games against Colorado on Tuesday and Feb. 11, but the Avalanche already postponed those contests due to their coronavirus problems.
