President Donald Trump has canceled the Philadelphia Eagles’ White House visit, which was scheduled to occur on Tuesday.

The White House released the following statement by the President on Monday evening.

The Eagles have players on their roster who have differences with President Trump on many issues, including his involvement with the NFL’s new national anthem policy.

Still, the franchise was planning on having a contingency from last year’s Super Bowl winning team participate in the yearly celebratory visit to the White House.

Apparently, that wasn’t exactly what President Trump wanted to see, however, and we have no doubt that this move to cancel the entire thing will do nothing but spark more fervor from both sides.
