Police investigating Antonio Brown for battery

Antonio Brown, agent

The police in Florida were once again called to former Pro Bowl receiver Antonio Brown’s home on Tuesday after an apparent incident.

TMZ Sports reported that said incident included someone injured in Brown’s home, resulting in a large police presence outside of his Hollywood home.

Now comes this report from Cameron Wolfe of ESPN indicating that police are now investigating Brown for battery.

Police don’t currently believe that this was a domestic incident involving Brown and the mother of his children. Remember, the authorities were called to the former NFL receiver’s home earlier in the month. It’s an incident that led to Brown verbally assaulting police officers at the scene.

Brown has been in the midst of a downward spiral since he was released by the New England Patriots back in September. This adds another layer to that.

Update (from TMZ Sports):

“A police source tells TMZ Sports Antonio Brown has been accused of felony battery and burglary stemming from an incident with a driver who works for a moving company. We’re told cops are actively working on getting a warrant for Brown’s arrest and they’re trying to convince the NFL star to surrender peacefully.”
