The Philadelphia Union are close to signing South American forwards Matheus Davo and Jesus Bueno in separate deals, multiple outlets reported Monday.

Davo, 21, will reportedly arrive on loan for a nominal fee from Corinthians in his native Brazil. He will remain through the end of the year with the Union, who will also hold a purchase option as part of the deal.

Davo has two goals and three assists in Brazil’s Serie B this season while on loan at Guarani FC.

Bueno, 22, will be acquired on a permanent deal from Deportivo Lara in his native Venezuela.

Bueno is the club’s captain and has made 76 appearances with Deportivo Lara.

Philadelphia, the defending Supporters’ Shield champions, sits in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings with 24 points through 16 matches.
