The Philadelphia Flyers re-signed forwards German Rubtsov and Linus Sandin on Monday.

Both restricted free agents signed one-year, two-way contracts for $750,000 for the 2021-22 season.

Rubtsov, who turns 23 later this month, was Philadelphia’s first-round pick (22nd overall) in 2016. He appeared in four games with the Flyers during the 2019-20 season, but did not score.

Rubtsov was on loan this season with Sochi of the KHL in his native Russia, where he registered 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 46 games.

Sandin, 25, signed with the Flyers out of the Swedish Elite League in April 2020. He played for the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms in 2020-21 and posted 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 26 games.
