Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch will reportedly be sidelined a few weeks with a shoulder injury suffered in the team’s third preseason game.
Paxton Lynch will miss this Thursday’s game and then a few weeks I’m told. Rest and recovery is really what is needed.

Lynch had x-rays done on his shoulder and fortunately, they came back negative. When Lynch is fully healthy, he will resume his role as a backup behind starter Trevor Sieiman.
Behind Lynch in depth is rookie Kyle Sloter, who will be Siemian’s backup until Lynch returns. The Broncos open up the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 10, when they host the Los Angeles Chargers.
That gives Lynch two weeks to recuperate if he’s going to make it in time for the regular-season opener. The second-year quarterback completed 16-of-24 passes for 90 yards and zero touchdowns during his preseason opportunities.
