Patriots’ Tom Brady on free agency: ‘I’m open minded’

Tom Brady free agency

There is a belief around NFL circles that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be calling another city home in 2020 after spending the past two decades in New England.

A report earlier on Sunday indicted that the six-time Super Bowl champ will meet with teams in free agency and is “eager” to mentor a young quarterback.

Brady himself opened up about the process later in the day, and had some interesting thoughts.

This seems to fit perfectly with the report we linked above. It’s no longer a foregone conclusion that Brady will finish his career in a Pats uniform.

Brady’s comments also come mere hours after he was seen with Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis during Saturday night’s UFC bout in the desert metropolis.

We can continue to connect the dots over the next several weeks. But nothing is going to happen on this front until free agency opens in March.
