Patriots’ Stephon Gilmore calls Zach Ertz a cry baby

Zach Ertz Eagles

The New England Patriots took out the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday evening in an ugly contest by the score of 17-10.

The win enabled New England to move to 9-1 on the season with Philadelphia dropping to 5-5.

The backstory here was an elite-level matchup between Eagles tight end Zach Ertz and one of the best cover guys in the NFL, New England cornerback Stephon Gilmore.

Following the physical matchup, Gilmore had some choice words for his Pro Bowl counterpart in Philadelphia.

That’s not going to ruffle any feathers at all. Gilmore is out here pretty much calling an opposing player a cry baby.

For his part, Ertz was Philadelphia’s best offensive player in the otherwise ugly game. He caught 9-of-11 targets for 94 yards, some of them coming against a player in Gilmore who also believes the tight end cheats.

We’re pretty sure holiday cards won’t be passed around between these two over the next several weeks.
