Patriots special teams pulls off Harlem Globetrotter play

When it’s time for members of the New England Patriots punt team to retire from football, a career with the Harlem Globetrotters might be in order.

In the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ryan Allen launched a punt that appeared destined for a touchback. But the special teams unit had other ideas.

For those of you scoring at home, that was Jonathan Jones with the first acrobatic play, swatting the ball to Rex Burkhead. Burkhead then swatted the ball to Ramon Humber who finally downed it.

If you watched that with “Sweet Georgia Brown” in the background, we don’t blame you.
