The NFL is currently in the midst of a passing of the torch at the quarterback position. As future Hall of Famers Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady enter the twilight of their careers, others are ready to take over as the face of the league.

That’s no more apparent than in Kansas City. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is coming off both a Super Bowl title and MVP season. A first-round pick back in 2017, Mahomes has cemented his status as the best quarterback in the NFL.

He’s now overtaken Brady for the most merchandise sales around the NFL, per Variety. For the first time in three years, Brady does not sit atop the $1.9 billion industry in terms of sales. Mahomes it the top dog right now.

Here’s a look at the top-five in merchandise sales around the NFL from March of last year through February.

  • Patrick Mahomes
  • Tom Brady
