Indiana Pacers All-Star guard Victor Oladipo will make his first appearance in an NBA game since he suffered a ruptured quad tendon back on Jan. 23 of last year.

It will come Wednesday night against the Chicago Bulls. However, Oladipo will be limited to 24 minutes in the game and will come off the bench.

This seems to make a ton of sense. There’s no real reason for the Pacers to rush Oladipo into playing heavy minutes early in his return to action. It’s been a hard rehab process for the underrated wing.

The goal here is for Oladipo to be able to play regular minutes later in the season and into the playoffs.

Indiana enters Wednesday’s game against the Bulls having posted a 30-17 record with its best player sidelined to injury.

Acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Paul George trade ahead of the 2017-18 season, Oladipo is averaging 21.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.1 steals during his career with Indiana.

His return will obviously be a boon for the contending team.
