Moritz Wagner signed to play the rest of the season with the Orlando Magic.

The Magic announced the deal Tuesday on the heels of the 6-foot-11 center being waived by the Boston Celtics on April 16.

The Celtics acquired the former first-round pick as part of a three-team trade on March 25.

Wagner, who has played in 34 total games this season, opened the 2020-21 campaign with the Washington Wizards and started 13 games.

He played in nine game, including one start, with the Celtics before he was waived.

Wagner, who turned 24 on Monday, entered the NBA as the 25th overall pick in the 2018 draft with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Wagner has played in 122 career NBA regular-season games (24 starts) with the Lakers, Wizards and Celtics, averaging 6.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
