The Orlando Magic hope that they have a franchise cornerstone on their hands in rookie No. 5 pick Jalen Suggs.
The youngster was dominant for Gonzaga a season ago, leading the Bulldogs to the National Championship Game. Suggs is known for both his range and two-way ability.
With Orlando opening up its preseason slate Monday on the road against the Boston Celtics, Jalen Suggs was making his NBA debut. He didn’t take too long to show fans in Orlando what might follow.
Check out the guard casually nailing a three-pointer from the logo inside TD Garden.
Suggs finished the first half shooting 2-of-8 from the field, including hitting just that one triple on three attempts.
Even then, this should excite a Magic fan base that needs something to lift up its spirits after some major struggles a season ago.
