Odell Beckham Jr. trolls everyone, then confirms he wants to stay in Cleveland

Surrounded by people questioning his desire to play in Cleveland amid reports that he wants out, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. tried to put the rumors to rest on Wednesday and even added a little humor in the process.

When asked about the ongoing speculation, the star receiver joked that he’s talked to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts, both professional teams in Canada, then confirmed he is not going anywhere.

The continued speculation comes near the end of a season that has been disastrous for OBJ and the Browns. The team came in with Super Bowl hopes and won’t even finish with a .500 record. Meanwhile, Beckham Jr. has played through a sports hernia injury since training camp.

Despite the down year in production – 910 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 14 games – OBJ is committed to staying in Cleveland, especially since he bought a house.

While playing for a bad team and dealing with a painful injury certainly hurt physically and mentally, it’s nothing in comparison to the process of selling and buying a house. So, it appears OBJ will be in Cleveland next season.
