The New York Giants won’t have star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for a third consecutive game when they take on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Beckham Jr. didn’t practice at all this week as he continues to recover from a quad injury and has been ruled out this weekend’s contest.
One wonders if Beckham Jr. will play again this year, given there’s just one more game to be played after Sunday’s contest in Indianapolis.
In 12 games this year, he’s hauled in 77 passes for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns. That’s solid production, but it’s not exactly what the Giants had in mind when they dished out a massive, record-breaking contract to the star receiver before the season began.
It’s been a frustrating season for the Giants, and this injury kind of seems to be serving as a cherry on top.
