Odell Beckham Jr. has plenty of critics, which includes some people who are in high places in NFL circles. Some of the criticism he’s garnered has been earned, while arguably, some has not.
Regardless, the Cleveland Browns star has a plan for shutting up all his haters.
Speaking with 92.3 The Fan on Tuesday, Beckham broke down how he plans on doing just that:
“I’m gonna ignore them and shut them up with my play,” Beckham said. “There’s no point [paying them attention]. I don’t understand this world. This place should be full of love and there’s so much hate that goes around. They’re just going to have to deal with it.”
It’s debatable that Beckham has it in him to “ignore them.” He has yet to ignore them to this point in his career.
Undoubtedly, he’d be better off if he could. One of the most talented individuals in the NFL today, Beckham Jr. has the potential to finish his career with a bust in Canton if he can simply focus on football and avoid any more big injuries.
