The Denver Nuggets simply need bodies in the backcourt with the likes of Gary Harris and Will Barton sidelined to injury and Isaiah Thomas still yet to make his debut with the team.
It’s in this that Denver announced the signing of veteran guard and 2018 NBA champion Nick Young on Monday.

Young, 33, played a pretty important role for the defending champion Golden State Warriors last season. He averaged 7.3 points and shot at a solid 38 percent mark from distance.
At 17-9 on the season, Denver has been one of the biggest surprises in the Association. Though, the team has lost two consecutive games since the injuries started mounting.
Young should immediately find himself in the rotation, potentially starting Monday evening against the Memphis Grizzlies.
