Just two days before Jacob deGrom got his long-awaited payday from the New York Mets, his teammate Noah Syndergaard blasted the franchise while calling out the organization to pay up.

Tuesday’s news that deGrom landed a five-year extension (first reported by Andy Martino of SNY) worth $137.5 million was the talk of MLB ahead of Opening Day.

It also got Syndergaard all kinds of excited, and he shared that sentiment with a great response on Twitter.

It’s always great to see teammates pulling for one another like this.
