No Surprises on Seahawks Inactive List for Super Bowl XLIX

The Seattle Seahawks have one of the deepest rosters in the National Football League. With their core pretty much set, there weren’t any surprises on the team’s inactive list in the lead up to Super Bowl XLIX against the New England Patriots.

The inactive players are:

QB B.J. Daniels

CB Marcus Burley

OL Patrick Lewis

OL Keavon Milton

DL David King

OL Garry Gilliam

WR Kevin Norwood

There was some concern—however minor it might have been—that Pro Bowl safety Kam Chancellor was going to be a surprise inactive due to a knee injury he reportedly suffered Friday. That’s obviously not the case.

Kevin Norwood, who played well in limited time during the regular season, is inactive for this game. Some thought he might suit up for the Super Bowl with Paul Richardson out due to a torn ACL. Instead, it looks like Ricardo Lockette will see some more action in this one.

Outside of that, there isn’t much to see here.
