Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback Nick Foles earned $500,000 on Sunday night and has a chance to earn another $1 million the next two weeks.

Already named the starter for Week 16, at the very least Foles will earn $250,000 when he plays against the Houston Texans — his standard bonus for starting a game, as noted by Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. If he wins on Sunday, and then starts and wins again in Week 17, it’ll mean a cool million coming his way.

So, to break it all down, if Foles starts the team’s final three games and helps the Eagles win out, it will net him $1.5 million.

Not too shabby.

And based on the latest reports on the injured Carson Wentz, it sounds like he’ll have a chance to do just that.
