
It was by far the new York Islanders worst game in nearly a year. The Islanders were shellacked by the Tampa Bay Lightning 8-0 in a critical Game 5 that has now put them on their heels and their season on the line.
The Islanders were uncharacteristically sloppy and undisciplined, and in a game that they needed to win, they looked listless.
