It’s said that one of the hardest parts of a player’s development process is learning how to win.

In that case, New York Islanders prospects Quinn Finley and Danny Nelson are already ahead of the curve after helping USA Hockey take home the gold medal at this year’s IIHF World Junior Championships.

The United States defeated the host country, Sweden, by a final of 6-2 on Friday.

Neither Finley nor Nelson registered a point in the win, but both played key roles in the USA’s run to the gold.
