East Meadow, NY–
It happens. It’s part of the game. You got to find a way to contribute to the team. You have to continue adding value. You have to make plays and create scoring chances. I can’t just go through the game and do nothing,
I think at the end of the day, there’s no reason to get emotion involved in it. You just got to stay level-headed and keep working and stay on the grind. Things will come and you got to take advantage of the opportunities when they’re there.
Getting amped up about it or emotional about it just does nothing. Negative thinking is not helpful. Having that foundation to build upon, and knowing that’s what you need to do is helpful.
I think it really needs to create some positive momentum for the team. I think it needs to be really hard to play against, and be good defensively. I think that’s an important role for that line. I think those are the two main things. Just do those really well and execute at a high level, consistently.
