That second period got us into trouble. That was kind of a bad break with Sorokin’s blade there. Not a whole lot you could do, but it is what it is. We definitely got to do a better job of staying on the box.
No fault to Dobber. It’s it’s a fast game. He was just trying to have a good stick and keep the puck in the zone. [Stuff] happens.

The penalties tonight, more than anything, just disrupted the flow. We were creating a lot tonight. We were working and creating a lot of opportunities. If we bury a couple of those chances, it’s a little bit of a different game. But, the penalties just sometimes get in the way of the flow of that. I thought our penalty kill was good. We got right back at it after the kill. So yeah, they were a little bit untimely on some of them, but at the end of the day, I think we responded well to them and had good kills and overcame them as much as we could.

The penalties that are happening, some of the tripping penalties and the cross-check behind the net, we just have to be smart. That’s it. You have to be smarter.
