It’s a big year for the New York Islanders and their fan base as 50 years ago, someone decided to put an NHL team in Uniondale, New York, and call them the Islanders. Now with a new residency at UBS Arena at Belmont Park, the Islanders have their own home again after the dark age that is called Barclays Center. And although UBS Arena opened in November of last season, COVID-19 still was an obstacle that impacted attendance.

But with the historic 50th anniversary season beginning in just over a week, the New York Islanders have announced their promotional schedule. And those promotions/giveaways begin right when the season does.
