All that I asked him is to just relax with the puck. He’s got talent. He’s a fast skater. He’s a big man. I mean, he’s always positioning himself very well in the D-zone. He just needs some confidence with the puck. His stats maybe are not what he would like, but I mean, I know one thing, if you just relax with that puck more confidence will come. It’ll make a big difference for him.

Engvall

It means a lot [to meet] when things are not working the way you want and talk about it, see the details of what you do differently and what you can do better. I think there are some small details to change, and I think I’ve been doing a better job in the last two games.

He brings a lot of positive energy. A lot of will to make the team better, and I think it affects the whole team.

It was pretty good at the beginning of the season, but for a while, things were a bit tougher. I think when you work harder and relax a little bit more, it usually comes to you.

Nelson

Everyone’s probably been there where you maybe haven’t had a great game, and there’s criticism, but Pierre is a great player. Maybe having a fresh voice is nice. He’s a big part of the team.

Allowing him to be able to kind of do what he does, which is be in possession, try and drive the play, I think that’s kind of the way he has to play to be effective. He’s done that for the majority of the time he’s been here.
