You want to score as many goals as you can. It’s definitely a positive but there’s still a lot of things to work on.
Palmieri
You look at Bo and Nelson, they’re so consistent. They’re consistently putting up those kinds of numbers, so for me to be able to join them, it’s pretty fortunate and it’s nice to hit that number, but at the end of the day, it’s a number.
I just stayed healthy. Nelson and I have spent most of the season together. He’s a great player, and I think we complement each other really well.
Nelson on Palmieri
He’s a good player. He’s got a great shot and plays hard. I think he’s a big part of our team on and off the ice. Offensively, he’s got great instincts and finds himself open without needing a whole lot of space to shoot it. A prime example would be his overtime winner in the last couple of weeks. He’s a dangerous guy offensively. He’s done it before. He said it’s been nine years, but he knows how to score goals. Being able to play with him it’s been nice. I feel like we have good chemistry. I just try to feed him, and he’s able to bury it.

You just want to make sure you play the game the right way. You don’t want to develop bad habits. That’s what I love about this group. There are so many veterans and they knew it was important to play the right way. It was great leadership, and I really appreciate every one of them for the way they came into play today.
