The Nikolaj Ehlers idea certainly struck up conversation among New Jersey Devils fans. All I know is if you can add a player who scored 3.47 points/60, which was 16th best in the NHL among players who skated 100 minutes or more last season, you should probably look into it.

New Jersey Hockey Now: If the Devils are going to look to upgrade their offense through free agency, there is one winger they should have at the top of their list. No, it’s not Mitch Marner. Nikolaj Ehlers’ preferences align with what the Devils can offer.
In other news, at least five Devils are heading to the Olympics as Nico Hischier, Timo Meier, Jonas Siegenthaler, Ondrej Palat, and Simon Nemec were named to their respective countries initial rosters. The five players named tied the Cats with the most player personnel from one NHL team on initial Olympic rosters.
