One of the New Jersey Devils’ biggest issues this season was stringing along a series of wins. They haven’t been able to eclipse three in a row, and as a result, their position in the standings is suffering.
It’s become an even harder obstacle to hurdle, given the recent injuries. First their No.1 goaltender, then their captain. Even Jack Hughes is nicked up. And then, another injury against the Philadelphia Flyers last night. Certainly, the Devils are in the thick of it right now.
More on the Devils ailing in the links, plus a potential trade target to help the depth.
Elsewhere, the for sale sign is up in Pittsburgh, kind of. With Mikko Rantanen gone, does J.T. Miller make sense in Colorado? And an NHL trade for the boys on Long Island who are in need of bodies, plus more.
Let’s do that hockey.
