
Welcome to September. I know that was yesterday, but I spent the last two weeks of August focusing on my family, and recharging the batteries for the upcoming season. Today, we’re back on the grind. The New Jersey Devils are expected to take another step forward this year. That could mean a longer than usual run from September to May with my nose to the grind before I’m off next summer. Thus, the rest was required.
In fact, there are three players who have the most to gain, or lose, in order to help the Devils take that aforementioned next step, or perhaps, contribute to a disappointing sink. More on that in the links.
Elsewhere, this Mitch Marner revelation was crazy. No one should have to live that way, and now it’s easy to understand why he’s in Vegas. More below. Plus, when will the next NHL trade happen, and could it be Carey Price?
