The last time the New Jersey Devils (36-25-6) met the Pittsburgh Penguins (27-31-10), Jack Hughes and Co. walked away with a shootout victory. In fact, it was their second win in two meetings with the Penguins this season.

One major factor was missing last time for Pittsburgh, however. Evgeni Malkin won’t miss this one.

And despite the Penguins selling at the deadline, including Cody Glass to New Jersey, the Penguins have won their last three games.

For the Devils, they’re looking to win four games in a row for the first time this season.
