While Thomas Rawls had his 2015 season cut short with an ankle injury, he doesn’t feel the injury will cost him any time in 2016. According to Jayson Jenks of the Seattle Times, Rawls expects to be back by the start of Seattle Seahawks Training Camp.

This is certainly good news for the Seahawks. If recent history is any indicator, Seattle will rely a lot on its running game this season.
Since Russell Wilson’s rookie season (2012), the Seahawks have never ranked out of the top-three in rushing attempts during the regular season. They have also made the playoffs in each of those seasons, so there is no reason to believe that a similar load won’t be in place in 2016.
Prior to his injury, Rawls had a monster season in his rookie campaign of 2015. In only 147 carries, he rushed for 830 yards for an average of 5.6 per and four touchdowns. With the retirement of Marshawn Lynch, Rawls figures to get an even bigger load in 2016.
