Sebastian Janikowski

After spending the past 17 seasons with the Oakland Raiders, Pro Bowl kicker Sebastian Janikowski will reportedly remain in the west coast. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Janikowski has signed with the Seattle Seahawks.

A former first-round pick out of Florida State, Janikowski was released by the Raiders following one of the longest-tenured careers in franchise history. Despite earning just one Pro Bowl appearance during that span, Janikowski acted as one of the most consistent kickers in the game, nailing 20-plus field goals in all but two seasons.

He’ll now be tasked with replacing fellow veteran Blair Walsh, who struggled to the tune of 21-of-29 on field goal attempts for Seattle last season.
