Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson put the pair of cleats he recently wore to beat out Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers, 20-3, on eBay for auction to raise money for childhood cancer.

Wilson posted the announcement of his eBay auction via his Twitter account on Wednesday.
“Had a tough time letting go of these…auctioning my game worn cleats from Our win over SF to fight childhood cancer.”
This is yet another charitable act by Wilson, who makes regular visits to children’s hospitals to visit with kids fighting cancer and other diseases. His cleats are currently drawing a bid of $1,275. Wilson reportedly wrote in the date and score of the game on his shoes.
With the bidding set to run for another seven days, who knows what the final fetching price will be driven up to when when the auction concludes?
On a different note, we’re pretty sure we won’t be seeing any autographed cleats worn by Kaepernick for auction on eBay anytime soon after the quarterback lost his job to none other than Blaine Gabbert.
